Service: SAP

End to end SAP services

One team for the whole SAP lifecycle: roadmap, S/4HANA implementation, ECC migration, integration, extensions, analytics and ongoing support. Senior SAP consultants and engineers lead every decision, AI coding agents speed up ABAP, integration and test work, and every change is reviewed by a human before it reaches your system.

Key highlights

  • We cover the full SAP lifecycle: advisory, S/4HANA implementation, ECC migration, BTP integration and extensions, analytics and AMS support.
  • Mainstream maintenance for SAP ECC 6.0 ends at the end of 2027, so most ECC customers need a migration plan now, not in 2027.
  • We follow SAP Activate and a clean core approach, so standard processes come first and custom code is kept upgrade safe.
  • AI coding agents draft ABAP, integration flows, test scripts and documentation; senior consultants review every change before transport.
  • RG INSYS is an independent delivery team, not an SAP partner. You license SAP directly from SAP and we deliver the work around it.

SAP problems we help solve

SAP programmes rarely fail on technology. They fail on scope drift, custom code nobody understands, testing that starts too late and support teams that only react.

A deadline with no plan behind it. ECC mainstream maintenance ends at the end of 2027. Many companies know the date but still have no agreed target edition, migration approach, budget or business case.
Decades of custom code. Thousands of Z programs, user exits and modifications, many unused, many undocumented. Every upgrade and every migration estimate is inflated by fear of what they might break.
Integrations held together by habit. IDocs, flat files, RFCs and point to point scripts connect SAP to the warehouse, the web shop and the CRM. When one fails, someone finds out from a customer.
Testing that is manual and late. Regression testing is a spreadsheet of scenarios run by key users over weekends. It slows every release and still misses defects that reach production.
Reporting outside the system. Finance and operations export SAP data into spreadsheets because the reports they need do not exist, so month end depends on manual reconciliation.
Support that only reacts. Tickets sit in a queue, root causes are never fixed, and the same incidents return every month end. Knowledge lives with one or two people who cannot take leave.
Capabilities

SAP services across the lifecycle

Each service below has its own page with scope, approach and FAQs. Most clients start with one and extend.

S/4HANA implementation

Greenfield SAP S/4HANA on cloud public edition, cloud private edition or on premise, run on SAP Activate with fit to standard workshops, data migration, testing, cutover and hypercare.

ECC to S/4HANA migration

Readiness check, choice between new implementation, system conversion and selective data transition, custom code remediation against simplification items, and a rehearsed cutover.

SAP BTP integration and extensions

SAP Integration Suite, OData and REST APIs, IDoc and BAPI interfaces, side by side extensions with CAP or ABAP Cloud, SAP Fiori apps, and connections to Salesforce, Shopify, WMS and custom apps.

SAP analytics

Embedded analytics on CDS views, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud, BW/4HANA, and governed feeds into Snowflake, Databricks and Power BI.

SAP support and AMS

L1, L2 and L3 application management, incident and change management, Basis administration, monitoring, support package and release upgrades, with SLAs written into the contract.

Advisory, roadmap and SAP Business One

Landscape assessment, target edition and licensing questions to take to SAP, a phased roadmap and business case. For smaller firms, SAP Business One implementation and integration.

SAP lifecycle

From roadmap to run

  1. 01
    Assess and plan

We review your landscape, custom code, interfaces and data quality, then agree target edition, approach and phasing. Output: a written roadmap, scope and estimate.

  2. 02
    Design to standard

Fit to standard workshops on SAP best practice processes, a documented list of gaps, and a decision for each: adopt standard, configure, extend on BTP or build clean core ABAP.

  3. 03
    Build, migrate and test

Configuration, extensions, integrations and data loads in short sprints, with automated regression tests built alongside so every transport is tested the same way.

  4. 04
    Go live and run

Rehearsed cutover, hypercare, then handover to AMS with monitoring, runbooks and documentation already written. Continuous improvement continues on a backlog.

How we work inside SAP safely

SAP holds your financial, HR and supply chain records. Access, change control and AI usage are agreed in writing before any work starts.

SAP Activate Clean core Segregation of duties aware Transport and change control SOX friendly change logs GDPR and UK GDPR NDA and IP assignment

Least privilege access. Our consultants work with named user IDs and roles you approve, in development and quality systems by default. Production access is limited, logged and time bound, and we respect your segregation of duties rules.

Every change goes through your transport path. Code and configuration move through development, quality and production with documented approvals, so auditors can trace each change to a request, a test and an approver.

AI runs on code, not on your business data. AI coding agents work on code, specifications and test scripts. Production data is not sent to external AI services, and anonymised or synthetic data is used where examples are needed.

FAQ

Common questions

It depends on scope, so we estimate rather than quote a list price. We size the work from your modules, number of company codes and plants, custom code volume, interfaces and data migration objects, then send a written scope, timeline and estimate within 48 hours of a discovery call. Our engagement models are on the pricing page.
Typically a few months for a focused rollout and 9 to 18 months or more for a large multi country programme. A cloud public edition implementation for a midsize company is usually at the shorter end; a system conversion with heavy custom code or many interfaces is at the longer end. We give you a phased timeline after the assessment.
You do, directly from SAP or through your existing SAP contract. RG INSYS is not an SAP partner or reseller, so we do not sell licences or subscriptions such as RISE with SAP or GROW with SAP. We help you prepare the technical facts for that conversation and deliver the work around it.
The team is in India, with at least 4 hours of overlap with US, UK, UAE, Australian and Canadian working days. Cutovers and go live weekends are staffed to your timezone, and AMS coverage hours are written into the SLA.
AI coding agents draft ABAP, integration mappings, test scripts and documentation, and a senior consultant reviews every change before it is transported. Agents work in development systems only, never with production credentials, and your business data is not sent to external AI services.
No. RG INSYS is an independent engineering company. We work with SAP standard tools and documented interfaces, and we are open about this from the first call so you can decide whether that fits your procurement rules.
