The Challenge
Aventuria sells trips to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. A big trip is a large purchase, and most customers save for months before they book. That planning used to happen in separate conversations, spreadsheets and bank transfers, with no single place where a customer could see what they had saved toward a trip.
The money had to stay regulated. Aventuria did not want to hold customer funds itself. Every peso needed to live in an account in the customer's own name at a regulated institution, and the app had to show that institution's balance, not a number of its own.
Customers needed a way to travel sooner. Some customers want to go before their savings cover the full price, so the product needed a "travel now, pay later" option backed by a licensed lender.
The team needed to run it themselves. Aventuria's staff had to publish trips, update prices and departure dates, review customers and follow the money without asking a developer.
What We Built
A new marketing website. We replaced the old Webflow site at aventuria.mx with a static Astro site: destination and trip pages, contact forms that email the team and Google Consent Mode built in. The site ships about 3 KB of JavaScript, serves responsive WebP images and runs on AWS CloudFront with edge locations in Mexico.
A customer web app. At app.aventuria.mx customers sign up, complete identity checks (KYC), browse the trip catalog and save for the trips they want. Each trip gets its own savings goal, called an apartado, that shows how much is saved and how much is left. The app is in Spanish and works on phones and desktops.
An Android app. A React Native (Expo) app puts the same wallet, savings goals and trip catalog on the phone. It is available on Google Play, and the iOS version is on its way to the App Store.
Savings held at Kuspit. Each customer gets a Kuspit Casa de Bolsa brokerage contract in their own name. They deposit by SPEI bank transfer to that contract's CLABE account number, and savings can be invested in Kuspit funds. Kuspit is the balance of record: the app shows the figure Kuspit last reported, with a timestamp, and keeps a ledger of instructions rather than a balance of its own.
Travel loans from Peso a Peso. Customers can apply for a loan to travel now and pay later. Peso a Peso reviewers sign in to their own portal to see applications, check the applicant's details and approve or decline. Aventuria can switch the feature from a pilot group to all customers.
A back office for the Aventuria team. The admin dashboard shows what needs attention first: failed balance reads, pending identity checks, open loan applications. Staff can manage customers, monitor the Kuspit connection and webhooks, and run the trip catalog. A new trip can start from an uploaded Word itinerary. The editor covers day by day plans, hotels, seasonal rate cards, departure calendars and inclusions, and keeps a history of every price change.

Security and Infrastructure
Because the platform moves real money, we treated security as part of the product from the first week rather than a final audit.
- Isolated partner connector: one small service is the only thing that talks to Kuspit. It connects over a private site to site VPN with mutual TLS, and refuses to send anything if a check fails.
- Strong sign in: Argon2id password hashing, rotating sessions and an extra verification step before sensitive actions such as withdrawals.
- Audit trail: every money instruction and admin action goes into a tamper evident audit log, with long term copies kept in write once storage.
- Hosting in Mexico: the app runs on AWS in the Mexico (Central) region on ECS Fargate, with Multi AZ PostgreSQL, a web application firewall, encryption keys in KMS and secrets in Secrets Manager. All infrastructure is code in Terraform.
- Safe testing: a separate test environment, plus a mock mode for every Kuspit operation, so features can be tried end to end without touching real accounts.
Timeline
July 2026: Kickoff. Product scope, designs, data model and the plan for how money moves through Kuspit.
Late August 2026: First production release of the web app on AWS, with separate test and production environments, automated deployments and a live connection to Kuspit's test environment.
September 2026: Peso a Peso loan flow and partner portal, identity checks, and the new aventuria.mx website live on AWS.
October 2026: Savings goals in the mobile app, legal disclosures for each partner, Android release on Google Play and preparation for the App Store.

Results
Aventuria now runs its catalog, customer savings and travel loans from one platform it controls. Customers can find a trip on the website, sign up, start saving toward it from the web or their phone and apply for financing, without leaving Aventuria's product.

Video Transcript
Hi, my name is Daniel Coggiola. I'm the CEO and founder of Aventuria, a Mexican travel agency that has evolved into a tech startup.
When I first reached out to the team at RG INSYS, I wanted to create an app that could bring together travel planning, booking, savings and financing in one app. And we needed a platform that could support our operations, integrate with our partners and grow our business.
We chose RG INSYS because they took the time to understand our vision, and they really understood how this technology could help both the traveler's experience and our business model.
I never really had to worry about the technical side of what I wanted to achieve. I would just walk through my ideas with them, share as much detail as possible, and they would bring them to life, no matter how complex. And I have to say, they did it in record time. Even when it came to last minute changes, their turnaround was incredibly fast.
I'm thrilled with the results. We now have a remarkably robust, powerful and scalable platform that helps travelers plan a trip, prepare financially and book with the support of a travel agent, bringing together all the pieces we had in our vision.
I'd recommend RG INSYS to founders, CEOs and CIOs looking for a technology partner who takes the time to understand their business and works closely with them to bring it to life.
