How quickly can a developer start?
Most roles ship a shortlist within 48 hours of a signed NDA. The engineer typically starts within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your interview pace and notice period adjustments.
What is included in the monthly rate?
The monthly rate covers the engineer's full time output (160 hours), all RG INSYS overheads, paid leave coverage with a backup engineer, and access to our internal AI tooling stack (Claude, Cursor, Copilot licences). There are no hidden fees.
Can I interview the engineer myself?
Yes. We strongly encourage it. Run any interview format you like, system design, live coding, take home, behavioural. We share full CV and GitHub before the interview.
What if the engineer is not a good fit?
We offer a 2 week paid trial. If you decide not to continue, you pay nothing for the trial period and we replace the engineer at no cost.
Who owns the code and IP?
You do. Every engagement starts with an NDA and a full IP assignment clause. The code lives in your repos, on your infrastructure, under your accounts.
Do you support timezone overlap with UK, US, or UAE?
Yes. Engineers commit to a flexible 8 hour day with at least 4 hours overlap with your team. UK, EU, US East/West, UAE, and Australia are all supported.
What about leave, sickness, and holidays?
Planned leave is communicated 2 weeks in advance and is covered by a backup engineer at no extra cost. Unplanned sickness is covered the same way for the duration. You never pay for time the engineer isn't producing.
Do your engineers really use Claude Code and Cursor every day?
Yes. AI assisted coding is a hard requirement for every RG INSYS engineer. We provision Cursor and Claude Code licences as part of the engagement and our internal benchmarks show roughly 2.5× to 3× output uplift on production codebases.
